New Hope Evangelical Free Church welcomes you and your family. We hope you will find the information you need on our website to encourage you to join us. Our morning service begins each Sunday (unless otherwise noted in the Calendar) with Education Hour (formerly known as Sunday School) for all ages...including adults... at 8:45 am, with the worship service itself at 10:00 a.m . Our purpose is to worship and glorify God and fellowship with one another while learning and growing from His word. We also offer many other opportunities to develop your personal relationship with Jesus throughout the week. Purpose Statement: Together we exist to glorify and worship God by bringing people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and striving to become fully devoted followers, while being equipped to serve Him.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the case of inclement weather, please listen to local television and radio stations for announcements regarding the Mt. Horeb Area School District (MHASD). When weather threatens, New Hope and the SonShine Christian Preschool (SCP) will do the following:
1. If the MHASD announces a one-hour delay in the start of school programming, New
Hope's office will open at 10:00 am and the morning class at SCP will begin one hour
late.
2. If the MHASD announces a 2 hour delay, New Hope's Office will open at 12 noon,
and the SCP morning class will be canceled.
3. If the MHASD closes school's for the day, New Hope's Office will be closed, all SCP
classes will be canceled, and any evening ministries will be canceled.
4. If the inclement weather occurs on a Sunday, please check your email before leaving
for church; or check local news affiliates to see if New Hope is listed as closed.
5. If there are no cancellations and the weather appears threatening, please use your
own discretion in coming to New Hope and/or sending your child to SCP.
