Women with a Mission

The Women’s Ministry of New Hope exists to glorify and worship God by bringing women into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to provide opportunities for them to grow together spiritually, work together physically, and to fellowship and encourage one another.
Our desire is to provide a safe environment for women of all ages and stages in their faith journey to go deeper in their relationship with God and with others. We pray you will take advantage of the many opportunities we offer throughout the year to develop these relationships.

Our vision is to Engage, Establish, Equip and Expand

What you can expect when you participate in a Women’s Ministry activity……..
  • To be included (you belong here)
  • To be protected (this is a safe place)
  • To receive grace (no one here is perfect)
  • To be encouraged (By God’s Word and God’s family)
  • To be instructed in wise living (God’s Word is our lifeline)
  • To be mentored, nurtured, and nourished in love (older and younger women together)

Women’s Bible Study

In September we will begin a long-term series of the Kings & Prophets using ‘Precept Upon Precept’ (PUP) study materials.  The series is in ten different segments. Unlike other series we’ve done in segments, each course is completely separate from all the others!!  Therefore, you can jump in and participate in one course, skip a few courses, and get back in whenever the next one starts.  We anticipate completing the full series in April 2020.  There is a listing of all 10 courses on the information table in the foyer.  It includes course length, number of lessons per course, cost of the workbook, and a full description of the course and what books of the Bible are covered for each course.

PUP is an in-depth study using the inductive study method comprised of 5 lessons each week with a homework commitment of about 45-60 minutes per lesson.  Each week we’ll have one hour of discussion along with a DVD lecture.

The first course we’re offering is titled “A Divided Heart…A Divided Nation” (a study of 1 Kings chapters 1-15 and 2 Chronicles chapters 1-13).  There are 8 weeks of homework with this course.  At our first class, we’ll be handing out workbooks, presenting an overview of the course and have some fellowship time (for a total of a 9-week commitment).

Wednesday mornings:  9:00-11:00am (childcare MAY be available depending on need).  The first class is Sept 5th.

Monday nights:  7:00-9:00pm (no childcare). The first class is Sept 10th.

To order a workbook for this study, contact Michelle Wilson: mfwilson@mhtc.net
Workbooks are $18.00. If cost is a financial hardship, there are scholarships available, just let Michelle know.  DEADLINE TO ORDER is August 26th.
