NEW HOPE CHURCH COVID-19 IN-PERSON POLICY
  • This policy is grounded in our desire to obey God’s Word and demonstrate His love toward others in our conduct. It is with this in mind that our policy adopts the relevant portions of the Public Health Madison Dane County Order #15.

IN-PERSON & ONLINE Worship Service at 10:00am:

  • Our services are live-streamed and you can join via our livestream page or the New Hope Facebook page at 10:00am on Sundays.
  • The service will also be available to view at the conclusion of livestream if that time doesn’t work with your schedule.

REQUIREMENTS FOR IN-PERSON ACTIVITIES:

  • If you aren’t feeling well, are exhibiting symptoms associated with COVID-19, or have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19, please join online for all in-person activities.
  • Sanitizing stations are strategically located at the entrances to the building & sanctuary – we ask that you sanitize when entering the building & you’re welcome to do so any other time while in the church building.
  • Please strive to observe 6 feet of social distancing between households while on the grounds – including seating in the sanctuary, and outside of the building.
  • Masks are required when inside of the building for all who are 5 and older except while eating or drinking, and must cover the nose and mouth. Masks are available upon entry if needed. If you’re unable to wear a mask while inside, we invite you to join with us online and for outdoor activities when masks are not required.
  • Please make every effort to avoid physical contact (hugging, shaking hands, etc.) with those outside of your own household while on the church grounds.

A FEW REMINDERS:

  • Our Nursery Ministry is open & babies and toddlers up to age 3 may be dropped off in the nursery on the lower level prior to the start of service at 10AM.
  • Children’s Church is in-person during the sermon on Sunday mornings!!  For more information or for online content, please go to our Children’s Church webpage!
  • If you feel the need to go outside and get a breath of fresh air or have a child that needs to move at some point in the service, feel free to get up and do so!
  • Surfaces throughout the church will be disinfected before each service.
  • The structure/approach could change in the future as we look to best serve one another in love and comply with the standards in-place from the authorities over us.

Please continue in prayer and be gracious & patient as we all transition together!
